Collection: Trailer Trash Toile
Originally created for the "Our Town Toile" contest at Spoonflower in 2012, this toile du juoy design celebrates my PWT upbringing (that's Poor White Trash, for those of you who grew up in a house without wheels.) The design features two dilapidated mobile homes, a lawn sofa, and broken-down vehicles in the yard. Of course, that trashy neighbor is staring you down in her Daisy Dukes. The border is made up of plastic pink flamingos on the lawn.
Featured in the book, AMERICAN TOILE : Four Centuries of Sensational Scenic Fabrics and Wallpaper, by Michelle Palmer (Schiffer Books).
