Elevate your style with this cool enamel pin shaped like a timeless red high-top sneaker, inspired by my original hand-drawn design of my beloved shoes. Made with durable enamel and a sleek black nickel finish, this 1.25 inch pin is guaranteed to grab some looks. The military-like butterfly pin back makes it a snap to attach to any outfit.

For this special Yom Kippur version, the traditional 5-pointed star logo has been replaced with the Star of David (Mogen David). Observant Jews do not wear leather shoes on Yom Kippur (so as not to recall the sin of the Golden Calf.) It is popular to wear high top canvas sneakers instead.

About Our Enamel Pins

Hard enamel pins (also called imitation Cloisonné or Epola), are a kind of enamel pin equivalent to an upgraded version of soft enamel.

The entire inside debossed metal areas are filled by hand with various colored enamels to the same even level of the metal edges. Each color is baked in an oven separately, and the surface is repeatedly polished smooth. The colored areas are even with the metal, creating a smooth and uniform glossy finish.
