Petal Signature Cotton is 100% cotton, woven (plain weave) at 4.3 oz per square yard (145 gsm). This medium-weight cotton is perfect for apparel, accessories, and light weight home decor.

Petal Signature Cotton
Petal Signature Cotton™ is an everyday-use 100% cotton fabric, with a weight that lends itself to any number of applications, including quilting, crafts, cut-and-sew projects—even apparel. Based on input from the community, Spoonflower developed Petal to showcase vivid printed colors and clarity of design detail. Makers searching for the best choice for a custom-designed basic crafting cotton have met their match. Petal Signature Cotton has the look and feel of higher-priced quilting-weight cotton fabrics.
Machine wash warm or cool on a gentle/delicate setting, using phosphate-free detergent. Machine dry on a low temperature setting. Iron on the reverse side of the fabric. Woven fabrics may experience fraying when washed. We recommend serging or stay-stitching ¼ to ½ inch from the cut edge or using a delicates bag when pre-washing.
Estimated Shrinkage: 1-3% in length × 2-4% in width. Some shrinkage may occur during the print process and/or when washed. Pre-washing your fabric is recommended for most projects. 44 inch printed width.
Wash cool (40°C or 104°F) with gentle agitation.
Do not bleach.
Tumble dry low.
Iron on high temperature on the reverse side of the fabric.
