The Washington Color School painter Alma W. Thomas loved making abstract paintings of her garden, characterized by short brushstrokes. This is my own interpretation, adapted for a repeating pattern.
Non-Directional Pattern
This design features a non-directional pattern (i.e., there is no up or down to this pattern). It can be used either horizontally or vertically. When used in wider projects (such as sofa upholstery), no unsightly seams in the center of the piece are required.
