Bow Tie Shapes
Few bow tie makers (or wearers, for that matter) realize just how crucial the shape of the bow tie is to its appearance. That's why I offer my designs in multiple shapes.
Butterfly The classic bow tie shape, suitable for any face type. Not sure which shape to get? Try this one. |
Small Diamond Point This shape is slightly smaller, with "peaked" ends. Suitable for smaller or narrower faces. |
Large Diamond Point A combination of Butterfly and Diamond Point. This one is extra large, suitable for very large faces. |
Straight and Narrow No frills bow tie. Very matter of fact. Not formal, yet wearing it shows you mean business. The ends of this tie are straight, and the shape is created by the knot. |
Rounded Round ends give this bow tie a subtly unique look. Emphasizes the roundness of a person's face. |
Traditional Diamond Point Similar to the Diamond Point above, but with a few more curves. This style is based on historic shapes of bow ties from the early 20th century. This style is the 2nd most popular, after Butterfly. |
