Turing Pattern

Turing Pattern

The English scientist Alan Turing introduced a concept in mathematics that describes how patterns in nature can arise from a uniform state. More properly known as reaction-diffusion patterns, they are commonly referred to as "Turing Patterns" in honor of the great British mathematician.

The printable PDF catalog shows swatches of all 47 variations of Turing Pattern, with live links to the collection.
