Inspired by the Washington School colorist Alma W. Thomas's abstract paintings of flowers, this design consists of short dashes painted in orange watercolors.
Railroaded Pattern
This pattern is "railroaded" which means the design runs across the width of the fabric. It is meant to be used horizontally. Railroaded fabric is especially useful in wider projects (such as sofas) to avoid unsightly seams.
